Just wanted to update you guys about two subjects:
1.) Uniforms ordered
Uniforms were ordered yesterday from Custom Soccer Uniforms (http://customsocceruniforms.net). Luckily enough this company is located in Los Angeles, and I will pick them up at the factory on Tuesday (game day).
The original idea was to have a uniform in green (called "forest" by the uniform manufacturer) and cream ("vegas") colors. This was, as you know, a reference to The Dude's favorite consumer goods. Unfortunately such a combination of colors would make the uniform more expensive - and, since I had committed you to a price, I chose to replace the "vegas" by its closest match, yellow. Gentlemen, please spare a moment to picture yourselves - or Bart, more specifically - running through the fields wearing yellow socks, arms up high, reaching for the sky. De-lo-ve-ly.
I'm sure that Cesar, who was dying to play soccer wearing a kit in Brazilian colors, will be delighted by such recent developments.
2.) League schedule
The league schedule was supposed to have been published yesterday, but as of today 7:00 pm it wasn't. I called the Conejo Valley Park Department and they admitted to be late on that.
As soon as I receive the schedule I will share it with you.
